Jimi Manuwa interview: UFC Fight Night London
We interview UFC light-heavyweight contender Jimi Manuwa ahead of his fight with Alexander Gustafsson at UFC Fight Night: London
We speak with UFC light-heavyweight contender Jimi Manuwa at Reach Fitness in Clapham, London, ahead of his fight with Alexander Gustafsson at UFC Fight Night: London at the O2 Arena this Saturday.
The British fighter and his trainer, Richard Tidmarsh, discuss the brutal conditioning sessions Manuwa has been suffering through to prepare himself for the first five round fight of his career, and explain why the combination of an Elevation Training Mask and Dyno Bike have enabled him to push his cardio to an all new level.
Manuwa also talks about his dynamic fighting style, why the fight with Gustaffson won’t be going five rounds, what he thinks of current champion Jon Jones and where a win on Saturday will position him in the UFC light-heavyweight title picture.
UFC Fight Night: London will be broadcast live on BT Sport on Saturday 8th March from 7.30pm, with select fights airing on Channel 5 from 9.00pm. For more info, click here.
