Recent updates
Amazon Prime Day is done and dusted for 2023. Your next chance to score a discount is in November, keep up with the best reductions with our coverage of Black Friday Garmin deals.
Amazon Prime Day is a two-day sale held in July every year, but there is also a two-day sale event in October for Amazon Prime members, which has become a regular occurrence.
It’s been known by several names—Early Access in 2022, Big Deal Days in 2023—but it’s basically another Prime Day sale and that means another chance to buy some of the best sports watches from Garmin and save hundreds—yes, hundreds.
So far the stars of the Amazon Prime Big Deal Days sale are the Garmin Epix 2 and Garmin Fenix 7, both of which have hit their lowest prices ever. You'll find those deals and more below, and we’ve also included the best deals of July’s Prime Day further down this page so you can judge the Big Deal Day discounts against them
While Prime Big Deal Days is an Amazon event, other retailers often drop their prices in response to Amazon events, so it’s still worth shopping around. Our quick links section below is a handy way of checking in on each retailer.

Best US Amazon Prime Day Garmin Deals
Garmin Epix 2: was $899.99, now $649.99 at Amazon
Save $150 Both the steel and titanium models of the Garmin Epix 2 are reduced by $150 in the Amazon Prime Big Deal Days sale, the biggest discount we’ve seen on the Epix 2. We’ve highlighted the deal on the titanium watch, which is more expensive but offers more accurate multi-band GPS tracking as well as the more rugged titanium bezel and sapphire crystal screen.
Garmin Forerunner 745: was $499.99 now $279.99 at Amazon
Save $120 The Forerunner 745 is one of the older watches in Garmin’s line-up, but at this price it’s worth considering as a triathlon watch that’s perfect for those with small wrists. The Forerunner 255 Music is a better and more up-to-date Garmin triathlon watch, with features like multi-band GPS, but even in sales you can’t often get the 255 Music for $279.99, so the 745 is tempting at this low price.
Garmin Vivoactive 4: was $329.99, now $169.99 at Amazon
Save $150 The recent launch of the Garmin Vivoactive 5 means that the Vivoactive 4 was ripe for discounts in the Prime Big Deal Days sale, and this $150 saving reduces the watch to its lowest-ever price. The Vivoactive 4 offers Garmin’s reliable sports tracking plus useful smart features like music storage. It’s missing some newer Garmin features and won’t be getting software updates going forward, but the Vivoactive 4 is a solid sporty smartwatch available at a great price in the sales.
Garmin Instinct Solar: was $349.99, now $219.99 at Amazon
Save $130 The Instinct Solar is an older watch now and you’d expect it to be available at this price in any and all sales, but it’s still worth highlighting as a rugged adventure watch that lasts a long time on a charge. The sports tracking and training analysis is a little basic in comparison to newer models though, and we hope to see the Instinct 2 and Instinct 2 Solar discounted during the Black Friday period, so it might be worth waiting.
These deals are over, but we’ve digested them below to help you to assess subsequent deals on the same devices.
- Garmin Epix 2: Sale price $699.99, saving $300
- Garmin Venu Sq Music: Sale price $119.99, saving $130
- Garmin Forerunner 745: Sale price $279.99 saving $220
- Garmin Vivoactive 4: Sale price $169.99 saving $160
- Garmin Instinct: Sale price $142.49 saving $107.50
- Garmin Venu 2: Sale price $249.99 saving $150
Best UK Amazon Prime Day Garmin Deals
Garmin Epix 2: was £599.99, now £509.99 at Amazon
Save £90 This 14% saving is the biggest discount we’ve seen on the Garmin Epix 2, which is still one of the best watches in Garmin’s range despite the recent launch of the Epix Pro. The Epix 2 has all of Garmin’s top features, including music and maps, though it’s worth noting the steel model of the Epix 2 in the Prime Big Deal Days sale does not have multi-band GPS.
Garmin Fenix 7: was £599.99, now £419.99
Save £180 This 30% discount on the Fenix 7 is the biggest discount yet on the watch, which was originally released in early 2022 but still has almost all of Garmin’s latest and best features, including music storage and color maps. One thing it does lack is multi-band GPS, since that’s only available on the sapphire models of the Fenix 7, which aren’t reduced in the Prime Big Deal Days sale. Not that Amazon is using the original RRP of the Fenix 7 here, when it’s actually now £559.99 as standard, but this is still a big discount.
Garmin Fenix 7X Solar: was £779.99, now £539.99 at Amazon
Save £240 This is a beast of a deal on a beast of a watch, and the cheapest the Fenix 7X solar has ever been. I think most people will prefer to wear the smaller, lighter Fenix 7 24/7, but if you have big wrists and like chunky watches, you get a bigger screen and more battery life from the Fenix 7X, and if you live in a sunny country the solar panels will extend that battery life further. Garmin’s RRP for the watch is now £739.99, not the £779.99 listed by Amazon, but this is still a huge saving.
Garmin Forerunner 55: was £179.99, now £119.99 at Amazon
Save £60 Garmin’s entry-level Forerunner sports watch is always included in Prime Day sales, and while this Big Deal Days discount is not as substantial as some we’ve seen on the watch in the past, it’s a great running watch to get for £120. If you’re scouting for a deal on a watch for a new runner, or are just starting out in the sport yourself, the Forerunner 55 is the one to get.
Garmin Venu Sq 2 Music: was £259.99, now £184.99 at Amazon
Save £75 This 29% saving on the music edition of the Venu Sq 2 makes it tremendous value as a sporty smartwatch that works with both Android and iOS devices. The Venu Sq 2 isn;t quite as elegant as more expensive Garmin smartwatches like the Venu and Vivoactive, but it has a bright AMOLED display and better sports tracking than you’ll find on true smartwatches at this price.
Garmin Forerunner 255: was £299.99, now £216.65 at Amazon
Save £83.34 We were hoping the music version of the 255 would be in the Big Deal Days sale, but alas it isn’t. However, this discount on the standard Forerunner 255 is still a deal to highlight, since this is the best multisport watch you can get at this price. The Forerunner 255 is accurate, with multi-band GPS on board, and has breadcrumb navigation as a useful extra on top of its excellent sports tracking and training analysis.
