The slimmer of the year award goes to Ericsson’s latest, a 14mm sliding Walkman phone. It includes a personal trainer program that monitors your running speed, distance, time and performance. There’s also a complete music kit, with 512MB of memory and a built-in FM radio, and a 2-megapixel digital camera with a 4x zoom.

Hewed out of a solid aluminium block, the Porsche P9521 isn’t just stunning to look at but it’s also rammed with state-of-the-art technology.
