Can you think of anyone better to help you through your first gruelling 10K running race than Mo Farah CBE? Nope, neither can we.

You might’ve seen him take double gold at the Rio Olympics during the summer. You probably held back the tears as he did the very same thing at London 2012. You may be aware of his European records for 1500m, 10000m, half marathon and two-mile races. You should almost certainly know that he’s the most decorated athlete in British athletics history.

  8. Cool down after the race
  9. Increase your training slowly
  10. Run like Forrest Gump
